MBA ETH in Supply Chain Management (MBA ETH SCM)

Type: Master Programme
Topics: The MBA ETH SCM creates effective business leaders, capable of managing global operations and supply chains in today's world.
Objectives: Students completing the MBA ETH SCM gain cutting-edge insights from our faculty and witness those ideas in practice in important markets. They will acquire the practical tools and methodologies, enrich leadership personalities, and build the social relationships required to make their companies more competitive, now and in the future.
Professional perspectives: Depending on the level of work experience prior to graduation, the participant qualifies for top-management positions in industry, retail, trade and in the service sector.
Programme structure: This MBA ETH SCM programme is for part-time study, so that students can continue to work in their organisations. Lasting a total of 18 months, the programme is composed of 4 blocks (sets of modules): Management, Global economy, Supply Chain Management, Master Thesis. During the first 12 months, students are required to attend lectures on-campus in Zurich about twice a month, usually from Thursday morning to Sunday afternoon. In addition, study trips take the students to Russia, the USA and Asia.
The Master Thesis is a self-contained project dealing with a supply chain topic which is of strategic interest to the student's employer. Research and writing of this starts after the completion of the other blocks, and lasts 6 months. During the Master Thesis, on-campus presence in Zurich is not required.
Target group: Members of the middle or senior management in an industrial, trading, logistics, service or consulting company, as well as from public organisations.
Requirements: Degree acknowledged by ETH (Master or Bachelor with excellent marks), 5 years of job experience, proficient in business English
Required language skills: Proficient in business English (no test required) - Show proficiency scales
Tuition languages: English: 100 %

Fees: CHF 65'000 for the entire programme (not including travel costs) CHF 60'000 for early application
Deregistration fee: After 30 days upon pre-payment invoice date: CHF 10'000 (non-refundable); as of 1.8.: CHF 32'500 (30'000 respectively for early applications)
Degree: MBA Degree with title 'MBA ETH in Supply Chain Management' (MBA ETH SCM)
Credit points: 62 ECTS credits
Application period: October 1 to April 30 every year (early registration by February 28, late applications may be accepted upon request, if places are available)
