MAS & MBA: Application and Admission

How to apply

ETH Zurich accepts for its MAS and MBA programmes only online applications. The application process consists of two steps:

1. You submit your web application form online and pay the non-refundable handling fee with your credit card. Applicants with a Master's degree (or  equivalent educational status) of a Swiss university or a Swiss university of applied sciences pay CHF 50 (45 US$), applicants of other universities pay CHF 110 (100 US$). 
2. After submitting your web application you create and print your pdf-form, sign it personally and send the Student Copy together with the required documents to the Centre for Continuing Education by mail.

Please note that incomplete applications are not accepted.

Application deadlines

Some programmes start every semester, some once a year, and some others every second year. The application period for a programme starting in the autumn semester lasts usually from 1 January - 30 April and for a programme starting in the spring semester from 1 July - 31 October. Early application is strongly encouraged, but please do not apply before the official application period has started. Earlier applications are not considered. >> Overview

• MAS ETH in Development and Cooperation: 1 January - 28 February (even years)
• MAS ETH in Sustainable Water Resources: 1 January - 31 March (every year)
• MBA ETH in Supply Chain Management: 1 October -30 April (every Jahr)

Deadlines for the submission of the printed documents

The same deadlines are effective for the printed application form and the required documents. The printed form and the documents must be posted not later than the deadline (postmark) and they must arrive at the Centre for Continuing Education within a period of 8 days after the deadline.

Admission procedure

The Centre for Continuing Education screens all applications and forwards the formally compliant ones to the respective programme management. These evaluate all applications and recommends acceptance or rejection to the Centre for Continuing Education. This process takes place during the months of May/June and November/December respectively.

You will receive the admissions decision in writing from the Centre for Continuing Education.
